Our History
The Kiwanis Club of Marion, Virginia has served the Marion and Smyth County community since 1923. Our Club is a part of Kiwanis International which was founded in Detroit Michigan in 1915. Kiwanis has undergone many changes throughout the years, but it has spent the last 100 years focused on service and more specifically serving the children of the world! Our local club is a part of the Capital District and we are in local Division Sixteen.
Kiwanis present motto is "Serving the children of the world."
As our local club begins to get closer to our 100 year anniversary we are grateful that we get to serve the children of our community and of the world!
Our local Club also sponsors the local Key Club at Marion Senior High School, which encourages high schoolers to get involved in civic organizations and help the community around them!
We would love for you to join us on our mission to "serve the children of the world"
